法国兴业银行分析师称，目前多数的黄金买家都正在逐渐消失。然而，像是美元贬值、通胀激增、股市下跌或新冠确诊浪潮等事件，可能会重新点燃投资者对黄金的兴趣，这些浪潮足以破坏经济增长。
分析师和交易商的调查显示，2021年黄金均价为每盎司1784美元，2022年黄金均价为每盎司1743美元，较3个月前的类似调查降低，此前分别是每盎司1925美元和每盎司1908美元。
展望后市，澳大利亚的第一季度消费者物价指数(CPI)将可能提供亚太地区黄金交易者更多指导，但随后的日历过短可能会放大美联储货币政策会议之前的平静，并促使黄金无所作为。
