香港是世界六大黄金交易市场之一，黄金市场有100多年的发展历史。香港金银业贸易场成立于1910年，是香港黄金行业的监督管理机构。其性质与香港交易所相同，是独立于政府以外的交易场所。
香港金银业贸易场的理监事会由不同公司的行员组成，其本身有着强大的自律动力和公信力。与此同时，贸易场对行员有监管权和处罚权，若公司不遵守规则，贸易场可以吊销其行员牌照，增加了投资者的保障。
选择香港的黄金平台，应该选择香港金银业贸易场的会员，而且是电子会员的公司。记住香港法律规定香港本土的平台杠杆不可以超过20倍，否则就是违规。
国际交易所平台
国际黄金交易平台主要以英国和美国为主，这两个国家的交易平台是国际最大的两个黄金交易市场的所在地，所以国际黄金平台，尽可能的选择英国和美国的公司。以英国为例，黄金、外汇等注册金融公司，都是受英国金融服务管理局（FSA）严格监管的。

选择英国交易平台，可以在FSA的官方网站上查询公司是否具有牌照。英国FSA监管的平台杠杆不可以超过400倍，美国版澳洲版杠杆最高不可以超过50倍，否则就是违规。
黄金现货交易平台有很多，但是交易必须选择一个合法安全的平台才能达成炒黄金保本和获利。目前我国国内合法的黄金交易平台相对较少，若想了解如何炒金，内盘最好选择上海黄金交易所挂牌交易机构平台，天津贵金属交易所挂牌交易的平台，外盘来说香港平台则要能在香港金银贸易场能够查询到的比较安全一些。
