二、伦敦金定价机制模式
1.面对面报价模式
每天上午10点半和下午3点，市场将暂时停止交易，五大金商代表就会聚集在“黄金屋”进行报价会议。由洛希尔公司的首席代表根据前一天晚上的伦敦市场收盘之后的纽约黄金市场价格以及当天早上的香港黄金市场价格定出一个适当的开盘价。其余四家公司代表则分坐在“黄金屋”的四周，立即将开盘价报给各自公司的交易室。如果开盘价过高，市场上没有买方出现，首席代表将会降低黄金价格；而如果开盘价过低，则会将黄金价格抬高，直到出现卖家。定价交易就是在这样的供求关系上定出新价格的。定价的时间长短要看市场的供求情况，短则低于15分钟，长则可达1小时左右。
