据外媒报导，希腊8月可能向其国际贷款方要求240亿欧元的第一笔救助款，用于本国银行资本重组并向欧洲央行(ECB)偿还即将到期的债务。
希腊政府目前正与欧盟执委会及国际货币基金组织(IMF)进行磋商，希望最高获得860亿欧元的救助。这将是该国自2010年以来的第三笔救助金。
报道指出，243.6亿欧元的第一笔救助金中，将有100亿欧元用于银行业的初步资本重组，71.6亿欧元用于偿还紧急过桥贷款，32亿欧元用于偿还欧洲央行持有的希腊债务和其他款项。
如果谈判不能及时完成，欧洲当局可能像7月提供过桥贷款一样，向希腊提供临时性融资，不据外媒称，谈判中没有讨论这种可能性。
